Autodesk University 2012 is still more than 6 months away, but in conference-planning time that’s barely the blink of an eye.
In fact, the Call for Proposals site is already open, with a deadline of May 22 for submitting class outlines. (You can’t actually begin submitting classes until April 24, but we turned the site on early to give you a head start on looking at the guidelines and assembling your materials.)
Two things to note: This CFP site is only for on-site classes in Vegas. There will be a separate CFP for Virtual classes opening in June. Also, the “unconference” session type has been renamed to “roundtable”. Same concept, new name.
If you plan to submit a class, you’ll also want to review the Proposal Checklist and the “10 Tips for Writing a Winning Proposal.”
Not ready to teach a class of your own yet? Then tell us what you want to learn about! The AU team is running a Curriculum Planning Survey through April 27 to gather information about what our attendees (that’s YOU) would like to see at this year’s conference. And the best part is that respondents will be entered into a drawing for a free pass to AU 2012!
So take the survey, submit your classes, and we’ll see you in Vegas!
