Know your Zoom Fact(or)s

When you use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out in AutoCAD, the amount that it zooms is controlled by the ZOOMFACTOR system variable. If you find yourself having to roll the wheel too many times to get where you want to go; or if it zooms beyond where you want to go, you can change the ZOOMFACTOR. The default value for ZOOMFACTOR is 60 but you can change to any value between 3 and 100. The higher the value, the greater the zoom.
