Save drawing time with the new Add Selected tool in AutoCAD 2011. It enables you to quickly create a new object in your drawing based on the properties of an existing object. For example, if you select an existing polyline and choose Add Selected (available from the right-click menu), AutoCAD automatically launches the PLINE command and applies general object properties including color, layer, and linetype, to match the selected object.
