Wow! Gone are the days where you can sneak through your birthday with no one knowing! I can’t deny it. Today is my birthday… 23 years old (plus/minus a decade or two). I appreciate the many birthday wishes from around the world! Since I’ve admitted it’s my birthday, I’ll admit something else and make a birthday request at the same time.
Most of you probably don’t know that I began this blog as a class assignment after enrolling in graduate school at the University of Colorado (Jan 2003). It’s been slow going with fulltime work, traveling, and two young children (they aren’t so young any more). But, at last, I’m almost finished. This summer I will earn my M.S. in Technical Communications and my M.A. in Information and Learning Technologies. Woo hoo! Finally!
What does all of that have to do with a birthday wish? Well, just like this blog originally served two purposes (class assignment and AutoCAD communication tool), so too does the AutoCAD 3D Survey request that I posted yesterday. As a graduate student at the University of Colorado, I am part of the team that will collect and analyze the survey results for a class project. As a member of the AutoCAD team, I look forward to using the results to serve you better. So, my very simple (and free) birthday request is for you to take 10 minutes to respond to this AutoCAD survey. And you thought I was going to ask for a new car!
Thanks to all of you that have already responded!
